South America is the largest coffee producing region in the world with many of its countries wholly dependent on coffee production and export. And thus it is no surprise that it is South American coffee that is found in most daily cuppa's. Colombian coffee is probably the most well known amongst consumers for the Arabica coffee bean while Brazil leads the pack in production of the Robusta bean. While the coffee plant is not native to South America it has certainly thrived and in the case of Colombian coffee has become the unofficial standard by which all coffees are judged.

de Aguila is located in the "Honduras" (Literally the
"Deep") reserve on the western mountain ranges of Colombia.
Our coffee is grown by a co operative of indigenous
speaking farmers, their language, known as “Nasa Yuwe” is now
Pico de Aguila is also the most sacred sites to the
local community; its highest peak called Cerro Pico de Aguila.
medium roast this fabulous bean, it results in a brew that's superbly
smooth with lots of flavour. It both silky and velvety with notes of
chocolate and caramel and fine smooth acidity. We think best drunk
black to appreciate its true richness!
Colombia, Medellin excelso. Coffee as it should be! A fabulously flavoured arabica bean grown at the foot of the Andes. Medium roasted it gives a fine well balanced cup, smooth and mellow with light acidity and wonderful notes of caramel. 'tis a joy at any time of the day!
Brazilian Santos Fair trade
